In his March 30, 2020 news briefing, Governor Wolf announced that he is extending school closures indefinitely. All Pennsylvania schools will remain closed until further notice. The Indiana Area School District’s Continuity of Education plan has already begun for faculty and staff and will begin for students on April 2. This distance learning program will remain in effect for as long as schools remain closed. We anticipate additional guidance from the Pennsylvania Department of Education on what this extended closure will look like for our staff and students and appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this together.
