Volunteers from the community came to the Indiana Area Senior High School this past Friday to help beautify the campus as a part of the United Way of Indiana County's "Day of Caring." In all, 33 parents, business leaders, and community partners helped weed, paint curbs and steps, and landscape around the grounds to make the school a little better and brighter. Each year members of the UWIC adopt a different project on which to focus their resources. This year the focus was on schools, and we are very grateful. It is so nice to have a community that cares and contributes!
A great big thank you to all of the volunteers who spend their day helping make Indiana a better place to be!
