This week, 4th & 5th grade students are participating in Fat Bear Week, a fun way to explore wildlife and ecosystems by learning about the brown bears at Katmai National Park in Alaska. In this unique place, these usually solitary creatures come together for the summer to fatten up as the salmon run upstream .
