The first East Pike Battle of the Faculties fundraising event was a huge success! Thank you to the staff members who made baked goods, donated gift cards, and volunteered to be a guest barista for Sit 'n Stay, a very loved coffee shop in our community. 
There was a line all day long, and for most of the day, it was a very packed house. Students’ faces lit up when they saw our staff members, and the families shared how much they loved the baked goods. From just the bake sale and donations, we raised $564! We are waiting on the update from the owner of Sit ‘n Stay to total the percentage of the sales we will receive. Once we know that number, we will share a grand total raised!
We have a few bake sale items left that we will have in the faculty room for sale. The money will go towards EP’s fund, so treat yourself to some baked goods this week!
Thank you again for a successful event. We are really looking forward to more events, creating an even closer connection with the community, and bringing the Battle of Faculties trophy to the “Greatest School on Earth!”
